FAQ's
1) Where do you travel?
We go to all 5 boroughs of NYC, Westchester, and Long Island - both Nassau and Suffolk. We have even occasionally traveled to Rockland County, Putnam County, and North Jersey.
2) How do I know if a clown that I hire is good?
One way to go about hiring a clown is to ask friends, family, co-workers, and neighbors who they've used and were happy with (or weren't happy with) Another way is to find out if the entertainer you are thinking about hiring is a member of Clowns of America (COAL) or the World Clown Association (WCA) (Which we are). While this is not a 200 percent guarantee, those of us who belong to COAL or WCA usually set higher standards for ourselves in terms of clown make-up and costume, performing and magic.
Another way is if you feel comfortable on the phone with the entertainer and you like what they have to say on their website.
3) Do you require a deposit?
We usually require a deposit to hold open the date and time you want for your entertainment, so this way we know that the time and day is definately booked by the customer!
4) Why aren't your prices listed on your website?
Our prices vary depending on the location of your party, day of the week, and how much time is needed (For example, our prices would be a lot higher to travel to some place an hour and 45 minutes from us on a Saturday at 6PM with 50 kids than it would be for a party 10 minutes away from us with 10 kids for a day during the week)
5) Will the kids be scared of that white make-up?
We do hundreds of parties a year which means we're performing for thousands of kids each year which means by the law of averages a few kids will be scared of that white make-up. However, usually when those see that we're friendly and gentle with the other kids and the other kids are having a good time then they usually get over their fear. We have also come to realize that kids will be more scared of a clown who wears little or no make-up but plays rough with them. (Something we never do)
6) What is the best age group for this?
The best age group is 3 to 9. A child under 3 will usually not sit still for a magic show. (However, we perform at plenty of parties where the where the birthday child is 1 but the other kids are older). CALL Now! - (718)278-4871 |
